All Saints Day

🌟 All Saints’ Day in the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) is observed on November 1st and serves as a deeply meaningful celebration of the “communion of saints”—all believers in Christ, past and present.

🙏 What It Commemorates:

  • Faithful Departed: The day honors all Christians who have died in the faith, not just canonized saints. This includes apostles, martyrs, and everyday believers.

  • Unity in Christ: LCMS theology emphasizes that all believers—living and deceased—are united in Christ’s body, the Church.

  • Hope of Resurrection: It’s a time to reflect on the promise of eternal life and the resurrection of the dead.
